C-AFM Sample Mounting

Attach the sample to a magnetic puck provided with the system and place the puck on top of the sample chuck.

When measuring large samples, we recommend use of an electromagnetic interference shielding hood. Large conductive samples can act as an antenna and focus electrical noise from the environment into the input of the C-AFM sensor.

Caution/Attention/Vorsicht: The sample chuck and its surrounding area are electrostatic sensitive. Employ ESD-protective measures at all times when handling a C-AFM sensor or sample.
